ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΟΤΕΡΕΣ ΕΚΔΗΛΩΣΕΙΣ ΤΗΣ ΠΡΟΗΓΟΥΜΕΝΗΣ ΧΡΟΝΙΑΣ
Και φέτος το τοπικό Λύκειο ήταν στην πρώτη γραμμή σε όλες τις εθνικές, θρησκευτικές, κοινωνικές και πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις, τόσο μέσα στην πόλη και την περιοχή μας, αλλά και εκτός συνόρων της πατρίδας μας.Ενδεικτικά αναφέρουμε:
1) Συμμετοχή της Χορευτικής Ομάδας (Χ.Ο.) στο 28ο Folklore Festival στο Sarvar της Ουγγαρίας από 14 έως 23 Αυγούστου 2008. Στο άρτια οργανωμένο φεστιβάλ πήραν μέρος 12 χώρες από την Ευρώπη και η Χ.Ο. απέσπασε τα καλύτερα σχόλια, τόσο για την άψογη παρουσία της, όσο και για το ήθος των χορευτών.
2) Το ημερολόγιο του 2009 με θέμα «η παιδεία στα Σέρρας στα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα και στις αρχές του 20ου» σχολιάσθηκε από τον τοπικό τύπο με τα κολακευτικότερα λόγια: «……ένα υπέροχο συλλεκτικό ημερολόγιο……ποιότητα περιεχομένου, καταπληκτικά κείμενα, υπέροχες φωτογραφίες…… θαυμάσιο μήνυμα με εξαίρετο λόγο και εικόνες, ιστορικά στοιχεία πολύτιμα και διδακτικά…… ημερολόγιο με βάθος χρόνου……».
3) Οι χορευτές του Λ.Ε.Σ. συμμετείχαν στην παρέλαση στις 28 Οκτωβρίου 2008
4) Το «Δέντρο της Αγάπης» άπλωσε κλαδιά αισιοδοξίας και ελπίδας για 5η συνεχή χρονιά, από 19 έως 23 Δεκεμβρίου 2008, συγκεντρώνοντας το ποσό των 110.000 € βοηθώντας αναξιοπαθούντες της περιοχής μας, ιδιαίτερα νέους ανθρώπους, θύματα τροχαίων ατυχημάτων.
Η εκδήλωση προεβλήθη από την Κρατική τηλεόραση ΝΕΤ και ΕΤ3, και τα MEGA, ALPHA, ANT1. Κρέμασαν μπάλες ο Σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης Σερρών & Νιγρίτας κ. Θεολόγος και Σιδηροκάστρου κ. Μακάριος, ο Νομάρχης Σερρών, ο Νομάρχης Δράμας, οι κ. 6) Το κόψιμο της βασιλόπιτας φέτος είχε πανηγυρικό χαρακτήρα και έγινε στο ξενοδοχείο «Elpida resort» στις 9 Ιανουαρίου του 2009.
Την βασιλόπιτα ευλόγησε ο Σεβασμιώτατος Μητροπολίτης Σερρών & Νιγρίτας κ. Θεολόγος.
6) Το κόψιμο της βασιλόπιτας φέτος είχε πανηγυρικό χαρακτήρα και έγινε στο ξενοδοχείο «Elpida resort» στις 9 Ιανουαρίου του 2009.
Παραβρέθηκαν τα μέλη μας, όλα τα παιδιά της Χ.Ο., μεγάλα και μικρά με τους γονείς τους, παλαιοί χορευτές, όλες οι αρχές του τόπου.
7) Το γαϊτανάκι στην κεντρική πλατεία της πόλης και τους πεζοδρόμους, έγινε στις 15 Φεβρουαρίου με τη συμμετοχή και του συλλόγου Βλάχων «ΛΑΪΛΙΑΣ».
8) Στις 25 Μαρτίου 2009, μικροί και μεγάλοι χορευτές του Λ.Ε.Σ. συμμετείχαν στην παρέλαση που έγινε στην πόλη μας.
9-10) Σε διημερίδα που διοργάνωσε ο Σύλλογος Γυναικών Τερπνής (Δήμος Νιγρίτας) στις 10/4/2009 σχετικά με τις Λαζαρίνες, μίλησε η Πρόεδρος κ. Ελευθεριάδου Στέλλα για τις Λαζαρίνες της πόλης των Σερρών και πλαισίωσαν με τα αντίστοιχα κάλαντα παιδιά του Λυκείου μας, ενώ στις 11 Απριλίου, Σάββατο του Λαζάρου, δεκάδες παιδιά ξεχύθηκαν στους δρόμους της πόλης μας και έψαλαν τα Λαζαρικά κάλαντα.11) Την Κυριακή 10 Μαΐου 2009, μετά την εκκλησία, τα μέλη του Δ.Σ., οι Δάσκαλοι και τα παιδιά της Χ.Ο. πήραν μέρος σε μεγάλη εξόρμηση για την ανακύκλωση του χαρτιού.
12) Η πανηγυρική λήξη της Λυκειακής χρονιάς έγινε στο Αμφιθέατρο του Τ.Ε.Ι. Σερρών στις 10 Μαΐου και είχε θέμα «Φίλοι ’μ καλώς ορίσατε». Πήραν μέρος όλοι οι χορευτές του Λ.Ε.Σ. (280 τον αριθμό).

13) Μεγάλο αφιέρωμα στη μεγάλη Δασκάλα της μουσικής και μεγάλη ευεργέτιδα του Λ.Ε.Σ. στις 13 Μαΐου 2009, στο Αμφιθέατρο του Τ.Ε.Ι. με τη συμπλήρωση 5 χρόνων από του θανάτου της. Η αείμνηστη τιμώμενη κατέλειπε την οικία της και το πολύ σπουδαίο Αρχείο της στο Λ.Ε.Σ., προκειμένου να δημιουργηθεί σε αυτό Μουσείο Μουσικής Ιστορίας της πόλης των Σερρών. Ήδη για το Αρχείο εξεδήλωσαν ενδιαφέρον το Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών του Αριστοτελείου και το Ιόνιο πανεπιστήμιο. Την εκδήλωση πλαισίωσε η Γυναικεία χορωδία του Λ.Ε.Σ..
14) Στις 21 Ιουνίου η Χ.Ο. πήρε μέρος σε γυρίσματα της εκπομπής της ΕΤ3 «Κυριακή στο χωριό», που έγιναν στην Πρώτη του Παγγαίου.
15) Η Λυκειακή χρονιά «έκλεισε» με τον Κλήδονα στις 23 Ιουνίου που έγινε στη γειτονιά του Λυκείου (Κωνσταντινουπόλεως) και η εκδήλωση ήταν αφιερωμένη στους γείτονές μας που επί σειρά ετών μας συμπαραστέκονται με την αγάπη, την υπομονή και την ανοχή τους.
16) Παρέλαση για την απελευθέρωση της πόλης των Σερρών στις 29 Ιουνίου 2009.
17) “…..Άλλος για Χίο τράβηξε πάει , κι άλλος για Μυτιλήνη…..»
Εμείς όμως επειδή ξεκινήσαμε από το βορρά πήγαμε πρώτα Μυτιλήνη!Ύστερα από πρόσκληση του Δήμου Μανταμάδου, πήραμε μέρος σε πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις του Δήμου, από τις 23 έως τις 25 Ιουλίου, με κορυφαία αυτή που έγινε το Σάββατο 25 Ιουλίου με την ευκαιρία των εγκαινίων της 14ης Πανλεσβιακής Έκθεσης Κεραμικής και στην οποία πήραν μέρος κεραμιστές από το νησί της Λέσβου, την Κρήτη, την Κύπρο και την γειτονική Τουρκία.
Στην εκδήλωση, που έγινε σε θερινό θεατράκι του Δήμου Μανταμάδου, παρέστησαν ο Μητροπολίτης Λέσβου, ο τ. Υπουργός Σηφουνάκης, βουλευτές, ο Δήμαρχος Μανταμάδου κ. Στέφανος Αποστόλου, στρατιωτικές και πολιτικές αρχές του τόπου και ο Δήμαρχος από την πόλη της Μ. Ασίας.
Η εμφάνιση της χορευτικής ομάδας κατενθουσίασε το πολυπληθές κοινό που παρακολούθησε την εκδήλωση. Σημειωτέων μετά τις προσφωνήσεις και χαιρετισμούς η χ.ο. άνοιξε τα εγκαίνια της έκθεσης με χορούς από περιοχές του Νομού μας. Εντυπωσίασαν ακόμη οι αυθεντικές Μακεδονικές φορεσιές και η εμφάνιση της μουσικής μας με ζουρνάδες και νταούλια προκάλεσαν κυριολεκτικά ένα πανδαιμόνιο.

Η παραμονή μας στο πανέμορφο νησί της Λέσβου διήρκεσε από 23 έως 26 Ιουλίου και έτσι είχαμε το χρόνο να ξεναγηθούμε, να γνωρίσουμε την ιστορία, την πλούσια πνευματική του παράδοση και τις ομορφιές του.
Επισκευτήκαμε τα προσκυνήματα του Αγίου Ραφαήλ Νικολάου και Ειρήνης, το πασίγνωστο μοναστήρι του Ταξιάρχη, τη Μονή Λειμώνος και το πολύ ενδιαφέρον Μουσείο επεξεργασίας βιομηχανικής ελιάς που ανακαινίσθηκε από την Τράπεζα Πειραιώς στο Δήμο. Χαρήκαμε και τα καταγάλανα νερά του Αιγαίου στις δαντελωτές ακρογιαλιές στο Μόλυβο και στη Σκάλα Καλλονής.
Κυριακή 26 Ιουλίου στις 8 το βράδυ η χ.ο. και οι συνοδοί της αφήσαμε τη Λέσβο για το μυροβόλο νησί του Ομήρου, των μεγάλων δασκάλων του γένους μας και των λογοτεχνών: Αδαμαντίου Κοραή, Νεοφύτου Βάμβα, Γιάννη Ψυχάρη, του Γ. Θεοτοκά, του Εμμανουήλ Ροΐδη και του Λάμπρου Πορφύρα, αλλά και των συγχρόνων μεγάλων οικονομικών παραγόντων του τόπου, των εφοπλιστών μας. Όπως μας εξήγησε ο ξεναγός μας, η Χίος κατέχει τη 5η θέση όσον αφορά το κατά κεφαλήν εθνικό εισόδημα.
Η Χίος είναι ένα νησί που χαρακτηρίζεται για τις όμορφες παραλίες της, τα γραφικά χωριά της και το πλήθος των μοναστηριών που βρίσκονται σε διάφορα σημεία της.
Οι επισκέψεις στα Μουσεία του νησιού, στην Βιβλιοθήκη Αδ. Κοραής, στην Μητρόπολη της Χίου μας έδωσαν την ευκαιρία να ανακαλύψουμε τον πολιτισμό και την ιστορία του νησιού. Επισκευτήκαμε τα Μαστικοχώρια με το πιο εντυπωσιακό αρχιτεκτονικό στοιχείο «τα ξυστά», ένα τεχνικά ιδιότυπο και εικαστικά εντυπωσιακό στοιχείο διακόσμησης των προσόψεων των οικιών με γεωμετρικά, αλλά και φυσικά μοτίβα. Εντυπωσιαστήκαμε με τον σκαρφαλωμένο στα βράχια Ανάβατο, τον επονομαζόμενο Μυστρά του Αιγαίου, που προκαλεί πραγματικά δέος.

Η Χίος έχει και μια πλούσια θρησκευτική παράδοση. Εδώ μαρτύρησαν ο Άγιος Ισίδωρος, η Αγία Μερόπη και η Αγία Μαρκέλλα. Στο κέντρο του νησιού βρίσκονται η Νέα Μονή με τα περίφημα ψηφιδωτά που αποτελεί ένα από τα σημαντικότερα μνημεία ολόκληρης της χριστιανικής ορθοδοξίας, αλλά και το σπουδαιότερο αξιοθέατο του νησιού.
Η επίσκεψή μας στη Νέα μονή, στο ναό των Αγίων Αποστόλων και του μικρού Ταξιάρχη στο Πυργί, στο Μοναστήρι και το αγίασμα της Αγίας Μαρκέλλας, γέμισαν τις ψυχές μας με ευλάβεια, θρησκευτική γαλήνη και ορθοδοξία.
Αναχωρήσαμε από Χίο για τον τόπο μας στις 10 το βράδυ της Πέμπτης 30 Ιουλίου 2009. Φθάσαμε στα Σέρρας την Παρασκευή στις 3 το μεσημέρι, κουβαλώντας μαζί με τις βαλίτσες μας, εικόνες των όμορφων ακριτικών νησιών μας, τη ζεστασιά της φιλοξενίας τους και την ηρεμία από την καθημερινότητά τους.
Εμείς τα παιδιά του Λ.Ε.Σ. και ο δάσκαλός μας Βασίλης Τερζής, ευχαριστούμε το Δ.Σ. και ιδιαίτερα την πρόεδρο κ. Στέλλα Ελευθεριάδου που μας συνόδευσε. Καθώς και τις εφόρους κ. Μάτη Αντιγόνη και Κασαπίδου Μαίρη.
