1) Γυναικεία φορεσιά Νιγρίτας (Γερακίνα)
Η αρχαία Βισαλτία είναι αναμφισβήτητα τμήμα του Μακεδονικού χώρου, ο δε Στέφανος Βυζάντιος στο θαυμάσιο γεωγραφικό λεξικό, με τον τίτλο «Εθνικά» στο σχετικό λήμμα αναφέρει: «Βισαλτία πόλις και χώρα Μακεδονίας».
Σύμφωνα δε με μαρτυρία του Στράβωνα: «οι Βισάλτιοι κατοικούν ύπερθεν Αμφιπόλεως και μέχρι πόλεως Ηράκλειας».
Βέβαια η πόλη της Νιγρίτας είναι νέα.
Οι αρχικοί της κάτοικοι βασικά προέρχονται από ακτήμονες των γύρω χωριών και ο πρώτος πυρήνας της πόλης κτίσθηκε το 1516. Ο νέος αυτός οικισμός παίρνει μια ξαφνική ανάπτυξη από το 1820, από τον καιρό δηλαδή που ένα κύμα κατατρεγμένων οικογενειών στα χρόνια του Αλή-Πασά βρίσκουν καταφύγιο στη Νιγρίτα. Έτσι οικογένειες από την περιοχή του Ολύμπου και της Όσσας, τα Άγραφα, τα Αμπελάκια, τις Ραψάνη, Κρανιά, Καρδίτσα, Τρίκαλα, Νάουσα και Χαλκιδική, εγκαταστάθηκαν μόνιμα στη Νιγρίτα. Οι νέοι αυτοί κάτοικοι, έφεραν μαζί τους, εκτός από το βιος τους και τις πλούσιες εμπειρίες τους, που συνετέλεσαν σε μια υψηλού επιπέδου ανάπτυξη της μεταξουργίας και υφαντικής, τα δε προϊόντα τους ήταν περιζήτητα, όχι μόνο στον Βαλκανικό χώρο, αλλά και σε όλες τις σπουδαίες αγορές της Δ. Ευρώπης.
Αν και απείχε η Νιγρίτα περίπου 22 χλμ. από την πόλη των Σερρών, η επικοινωνία με αυτή ήταν δύσκολη εξαιτίας των πλημμυρών του Στρυμώνα και αυτό στάθηκε ίσως από τις αιτίες που η Νιγρίτα έμεινε μακρυά από τις επιδράσεις της πολιτείας και της δόθηκε η δυνατότητα να αναπτύξει ένα ξεχωριστό δικό της πολιτιστικό χρώμα.
Η ευρωπαϊκή μόδα πολύ δύσκολα και πολύ αργά εισχωρούσε στη Νιγρίτα κι έτσι ως τα χρόνια της απελευθέρωσης, αλλά και μέχρι σήμερα, μεγάλες γυναίκες φορούσαν την μεγαλοπρεπή ενδυμασία, την γνωστή στο πανελλήνιο με το όνομά της πολυτραγουδισμένης Γερακίνας, τον θρύλο και τη δόξα της Νιγρίτας, που υπογραμμίζει έντονα την ομολογουμένη ομορφιά των γυναικών της.
Η φορεσιά αποτελείται από πουκαμίσα αμάνικη από αλεύκαστο κάμποτ, σε τρία παράλληλα κομμάτια, όπως τα τσιγγάνικα, για να δίνει όγκο. Το τελείωμα της πουκαμίσας φέρει δαντέλα αγοραστή. Το φουστάνι που φοριέται πάνω από την πουκαμίσα είναι «ποδήρες», δηλαδή μέχρι κάτω και πιο κάτω από τα παπούτσια ή τις παντούφλες, να «σέρνεται» στη γη, μπλε ταφτάς, με λουλούδια στο ίδιο χρώμα.
Το φουστάνι είναι ανοιχτό μέχρι τη μέση, κλείνει με κουμπιά ή σούστες, έχει λαιμόκοψη και στο μπούστο έχει 4 κανονάκια εμπρός και πίσω εκατέρωθεν του ανοίγματος. Το μπούστο είναι στητό, ενώ η φούστα, που έχει φάρδος 3,5 μέτρα, περιμετρικά της μέσης έχει μικρά πιετάκια.
Γύρω-γύρω στον ποδόγυρο υπάρχει βελούδινη μαύρη φάσα, που ράβεται πάνω στο ύφασμα της φούστας, ενώ στο τέλος του ποδόγυρου υπάρχει μία στενή βελούδινη μαύρη λωρίδα, για να προστατεύει τον ποδόγυρο. Όλο το φόρεμα από μέσα φοδράρεται με μαύρη φόδρα από κάμποτ ή σατέν. Το μανίκι είναι μακρύ και καταλήγει σε λοξή μανσέτα (5-6 εκατοστά) η οποία γαρνίρεται από στενό βελούδινο φυτιλάκι. Ζωνάρι ίδιου υφάσματος, φαρδύ 45 πόντους, μήκος 3 μέτρα, γαρνιρισμένο στις δύο άκρες του με βελούδινη κορδέλα φάρδους 3 πόντων και χρυσές τρέσες. Ποδιά ίδιου υφάσματος, γαρνιρισμένη στο κάτω μέρος της και σε σχήμα Π με βελούδινη κορδέλα και τρέσα όπως το ζωνάρι. Γιλέκο (λιμπαντές): μαύρο κοντό από τσόχα, γαρνιρισμένο στο άνοιγμά του με μελόγουνα (στο χρώμα του μελιού). Κεφαλοκάλυμμα: κόκκινο φέσι σαν βάση, που γύρω του έδεναν τις πλεξούδες τους που τις στόλιζαν με φλουριά και μια μεταξωτή μαντήλα που περνούσε γύρω-γύρω από το φέσι.
2) Δαρνακοχωρίτικες γυναικείες φορεσιές
Στην επαρχία Σερρών, Ανατολικά και Νοτιοανατολικά της πόλης των Σερρών και σε διάταξη που θα μπορούσε να θυμίσει κύκλο, βρίσκεται ένα σύμπλεγμα χωριών με κοινά γνωρίσματα, ενιαίο γεωγραφικό και ιστορικό χώρο, κοινές καταβολές, ενιαία γλωσσική ομοιογένεια, τα «Νταρνακοχώρια».
Στην ομάδα των Νταρνακοχωρίων περιλαμβάνονται τα χωρια: Ν. Σούλι, Χρυσό, Πεντάπολη, Αγ. Πνεύμα και Εμμναουήλ Παπάς.
Χαρακτηριστική ήταν η για τον τόπο οικονομική ευρωστία των κατοίκων των πέντε αυτών χωριών που τους επέτρεπε να αντιλαμβάνονται τη ζωή με αισιοδοξία, ήταν δε γνωστή η αγάπη τους για την καλοζωία, την φιλοπαίγμονα διάθεσή τους και γλέντια, τα οποία ήταν ονομαστά, πλούσια και τους χαρακτήριζαν σαν πληθυσμό.
Κύρια ασχολία των κατοίκων των χωριών αυτών ήταν η αμπελουργία και η καπνοκαλλιέργεια. Επειδή η επαφή με την πόλη των Σερρών ήταν εύκολη, μια και βρίσκονται σε απόσταση 7-10 χλμ. και επί της επαρχιακής οδού Σερρών-Δράμας, οι νταρνακοχωρίτες γρήγορα απέβαλαν τη συντηρητική ηθική που χαρακτήριζε τις αγροτικές κοινωνίες και απέκτησαν αστική νοοτροπία.
Έτσι, μέσα στη θεματογραφία των νταρνακοχωρίτικων τραγουδιών αποκαλύπτεται ο ρόλςο της γυναίκας, που είναι ρόλος ρυθμιστικός, ρόλος της γυναίκας που μεγαλώνει παιδιά, συμμετέχει σε αγροτικές εργασίες, ασχολείται με οικιακές, παίρνει μέρος σε εορταστικές εκδηλώσεις της κοινότητας, στηρίζει τον άνδρα, άλλοτε ξεπερνά τους άγραφους νόμους της ηθικής, υιοθετώντας αστικά πρότυπα συμπεριφοράς.
Αυτό φαίνεται και από την γυναικεία φορεσιά, που περισσότερο πλησιάζει στην αστική φορεσιά της εποχής εκείνης, παρά με αγροτική φορεσιά, αφού όλα τα υλικά είναι αγορασμένα, τίποτα που να δημιουργείται από την ίδια (ύφασμα, ράψιμο). Είναι κατασκευασμένη από ακριβά υλικά, όπως ολομέταξα, βελούδα, στόφες και ταφτά.
Το φουστάνι είναι μεσάτο, μακρύ, έως τον αστράγαλο, πολύ φαρδύ. Στη μέση στερεώνεται η ποδιά, που είναι διαφορετική από το φουστάνι, κεντημένη, συνήθως από βελούδο. Το αμάνικο πανωφόρι είναι υφαντό και αργότερα από τσόχα και λέγεται «κάπα», συμπληρώνει καθημερινά την φορεσιά, ενώ για τις καλές τις μέρες και για την εκκλησία την Κυριακή φοριέται το μανικωτό μαύρο πανωφόρι, ο «τζουμπές». Στο κεφάλι μια τριγωνική μεταξωτή μαντήλα, το «σαμί».
3) Γυναικεία φορεσιά Παγγαίου- Πρώτης
Το Παγγαίο, ένα βουνό ,ε σταρτηγική θέση, κοντά στη θάλασσα, με πολλά σπουδαία οδικά περάσματα, είναι γνωστό από τους Αρχαίους χρόνους.
Πρώτος ο Ηρόδοτος αναφέρει το Παγγαίο σαν χρυοφόρο, μεγάλο και υψηλό βουνό: «το Παγγαίον όρς εόν, μέγα τε και υψηλόν, εν τω χρυσέα τε και αργύρεα ένι μέταλλα».
άλλοι συγγραφείς που το ονομάζουν «Παγγαίο» είναι ο Ευριπίδης, ο Θουκυδίδης, ο Αισχύλος, ο Στράβων ο Αριστοτέλης, ο Αρριανός. Κατά την Ελληνική μυθολογία ονομάσθηκε «Παγγαίο», από τον αιμομίκτη Παγγαίο, που αυτοκτόνησε σε αυτό για να ησυχάσει από τις τύψεις τους.
Κατά τους Αρχαίους επίσης χρόνους, είχε μεγίστης οικονομικής σημασίας ενδιαφέρον, αφού τα μεταλλεύματα χρυσού και αργύρου τα εκμεταλλεύονταν οι Μακεδόνες και ιδιαίτερα ο Βασιλεύς Φίλιππος ο Β’. Ακόμη ήταν γνωστό γιατί εδώ βρισκόταν και το Μαντείο του Διονύσου.
Στα χρόνια της Τουρκοκρατίας αλλά και αργότερα ξακουστά και σπουδαία χωριά, όπως η Νικήσιανη, Ροδολίβος, Πρώτη, Αγγίστα, Κορμίστα, Μ. Σούλι, Κρηνίδα, Αγγίστα, Παλαιοκώμη παρουσίασαν μεγάλη οικονομική άνθηση, αφού τα κύρια προϊόντα που καλλιεργούσαν οι κάτοικοι, το βαμβάκι και ο καπνός είχαν μεγάλη ζήτηση στις χώρες της κεντρικής Ευρώπης. Έτσι ανθούσε το εμπόριο με το εξωτερικό και σε αντάλλαγμα εισήγαγαν προϊόντα που τους επέτρεπαν να συμπεριφέρονται σαν αστοί. Αυτό φαίνεται από τον τρόπο ζωής τους, από τα μεγάλα και καλαίσθητα σπίτια τους, αλλά και από τον τρόπο ένδυσής τους.
Εισβάλλει, όπως ήταν φυσικό, πολύ εύκολα η νεότερη Ευρωπαϊκή μόδα, με σύμμαχο και τη βιομηχανική επανάσταση που άρχισε τότε να διαφαίνεται και στον Ελληνικό χώρο, που στην περίπτωση του ενδύματος επισημαίνεται με τη ραπτομηχανή και τα φιγουρίνια.
Μια τέτοια φορεσιά με αυτά τα χαρακτηριστικά είναι η μοναδική φορεσιά από την Πρώτη Παγγαίου. Τίποτε δεν έχει να θυμίσει φορεσιά χωρική. Το φουστάνι από πανάκριβο για την εποχή του, αλλά και για τη σημερινή εποχή ύφασμα, σε θαυμάσιους χρωματισμούς, είναι ραμμένο σε στιλ Ευρωπαϊκό, καταργείται η ποδιά και αντί αυτής σχηματίζεται μία ποδιά πάνω στο φόρεμα με δαντέλες, το κοντό γιλέκο μεσάτο, σαν να ράφτηκε σήμερα και το μπούστο του φορέματος στολισμένο με βαμβακερή δαντέλα. Ακόμη και η μαντήλα είναι εισαγωγής, αφού ακόμη και πρόσφατα οι γυναίκες της Πρώτης αν ρωτηθούν για την ονομασία της θα σου απαντήσουν ότι το όνομα της μαντήλας είναι «Ευγένα». Βέβαια ίσως και να μην γνωρίζουν ότι το όνομά της το οφείλει η μαντήλα στην προέλευσή της. Είναι λοιπόν οι μαντήλες όλες εκείνης της εποχής από τη Βιέννη!
4) Γυναικεία φορεσιά Ηράκλειας
Μεγάλος σταθμός για την εξέλιξη της γυναικείας φορεσιάς, υπήρξε στα νεότερα χρόνια ο ερχομός το 1837 της πρώτης βασίλισσας της Ελλάδος της Αμαλίας. Έξυπνη γυναίκα, κατάλαβε πως έπρεπε να πλησιάσει ενδυματολογικά τον παράξενα ντυμένο λαό της. Δημιούργησε λοιπόν ένα ρομαντικό αυλικό ένδυμα, που έμεινε στην ιστορία ως το εθνικό κοστούμι, με την ονομασία «Αμαλία». Δηλαδή, ένα φόρεμα στο Βιεννέζικο στυλ της εποχής και πάνω «ζιπούνι», ένα κοντό δηλαδή γιλέκο, βασιλικά κεντημένο. Το πατροπαράδοτο «φέσι» της παντρεμένης στο κεφάλι (με την προσθήκη του καθολικού πέπλου). Τη φορεσιά αυτή την φόρεσαν όλες οι αστές στα ελεύθερα, ακόμη και στα Τουρκοκρατούμενα Βαλκάνια, μέχρι και το Βελιγράδι.
Μια τέτοια είναι και η φορεσιά της Ηράκλειας.
Στην ιματιοθήκη του Λ.Ε.Σ., υπάρχει συλλεκτική φορεσιά ηλικίας τουλάχιστον ενός αιώνα και είναι δωρεά προς το Λύκειό μας της αείμνηστης Άννας Καφταντζή, μητέρας του αείμνηστου Δικηγόρου και Ιστορικού Γεωργίου Καφταντζή. Για την ιστορία, η Άννα Καφταντζή υπήρξε μέλος του Δ.Σ. του Λ.Ε.Σ. κατά τα έτη 1961-1967.

Το φουστάνι είναι μεσάτο, μακρύ, έως τον αστράγαλο, πολύ φαρδύ. Στη μέση στερεώνεται η ποδιά, που είναι διαφορετική από το φουστάνι, κεντημένη, συνήθως από βελούδο. Το αμάνικο πανωφόρι είναι υφαντό και αργότερα από τσόχα και λέγεται «κάπα», συμπληρώνει καθημερινά την φορεσιά, ενώ για τις καλές τις μέρες και για την εκκλησία την Κυριακή φοριέται το μανικωτό μαύρο πανωφόρι, ο «τζουμπές». Στο κεφάλι μια τριγωνική μεταξωτή μαντήλα, το «σαμί».
3) Γυναικεία φορεσιά Παγγαίου- Πρώτης
Το Παγγαίο, ένα βουνό ,ε σταρτηγική θέση, κοντά στη θάλασσα, με πολλά σπουδαία οδικά περάσματα, είναι γνωστό από τους Αρχαίους χρόνους.Πρώτος ο Ηρόδοτος αναφέρει το Παγγαίο σαν χρυοφόρο, μεγάλο και υψηλό βουνό: «το Παγγαίον όρς εόν, μέγα τε και υψηλόν, εν τω χρυσέα τε και αργύρεα ένι μέταλλα».
άλλοι συγγραφείς που το ονομάζουν «Παγγαίο» είναι ο Ευριπίδης, ο Θουκυδίδης, ο Αισχύλος, ο Στράβων ο Αριστοτέλης, ο Αρριανός. Κατά την Ελληνική μυθολογία ονομάσθηκε «Παγγαίο», από τον αιμομίκτη Παγγαίο, που αυτοκτόνησε σε αυτό για να ησυχάσει από τις τύψεις τους.
Κατά τους Αρχαίους επίσης χρόνους, είχε μεγίστης οικονομικής σημασίας ενδιαφέρον, αφού τα μεταλλεύματα χρυσού και αργύρου τα εκμεταλλεύονταν οι Μακεδόνες και ιδιαίτερα ο Βασιλεύς Φίλιππος ο Β’. Ακόμη ήταν γνωστό γιατί εδώ βρισκόταν και το Μαντείο του Διονύσου.
Στα χρόνια της Τουρκοκρατίας αλλά και αργότερα ξακουστά και σπουδαία χωριά, όπως η Νικήσιανη, Ροδολίβος, Πρώτη, Αγγίστα, Κορμίστα, Μ. Σούλι, Κρηνίδα, Αγγίστα, Παλαιοκώμη παρουσίασαν μεγάλη οικονομική άνθηση, αφού τα κύρια προϊόντα που καλλιεργούσαν οι κάτοικοι, το βαμβάκι και ο καπνός είχαν μεγάλη ζήτηση στις χώρες της κεντρικής Ευρώπης. Έτσι ανθούσε το εμπόριο με το εξωτερικό και σε αντάλλαγμα εισήγαγαν προϊόντα που τους επέτρεπαν να συμπεριφέρονται σαν αστοί. Αυτό φαίνεται από τον τρόπο ζωής τους, από τα μεγάλα και καλαίσθητα σπίτια τους, αλλά και από τον τρόπο ένδυσής τους.
Εισβάλλει, όπως ήταν φυσικό, πολύ εύκολα η νεότερη Ευρωπαϊκή μόδα, με σύμμαχο και τη βιομηχανική επανάσταση που άρχισε τότε να διαφαίνεται και στον Ελληνικό χώρο, που στην περίπτωση του ενδύματος επισημαίνεται με τη ραπτομηχανή και τα φιγουρίνια.
Μια τέτοια φορεσιά με αυτά τα χαρακτηριστικά είναι η μοναδική φορεσιά από την Πρώτη Παγγαίου. Τίποτε δεν έχει να θυμίσει φορεσιά χωρική. Το φουστάνι από πανάκριβο για την εποχή του, αλλά και για τη σημερινή εποχή ύφασμα, σε θαυμάσιους χρωματισμούς, είναι ραμμένο σε στιλ Ευρωπαϊκό, καταργείται η ποδιά και αντί αυτής σχηματίζεται μία ποδιά πάνω στο φόρεμα με δαντέλες, το κοντό γιλέκο μεσάτο, σαν να ράφτηκε σήμερα και το μπούστο του φορέματος στολισμένο με βαμβακερή δαντέλα. Ακόμη και η μαντήλα είναι εισαγωγής, αφού ακόμη και πρόσφατα οι γυναίκες της Πρώτης αν ρωτηθούν για την ονομασία της θα σου απαντήσουν ότι το όνομα της μαντήλας είναι «Ευγένα». Βέβαια ίσως και να μην γνωρίζουν ότι το όνομά της το οφείλει η μαντήλα στην προέλευσή της. Είναι λοιπόν οι μαντήλες όλες εκείνης της εποχής από τη Βιέννη!
4) Γυναικεία φορεσιά Ηράκλειας
Μεγάλος σταθμός για την εξέλιξη της γυναικείας φορεσιάς, υπήρξε στα νεότερα χρόνια ο ερχομός το 1837 της πρώτης βασίλισσας της Ελλάδος της Αμαλίας. Έξυπνη γυναίκα, κατάλαβε πως έπρεπε να πλησιάσει ενδυματολογικά τον παράξενα ντυμένο λαό της. Δημιούργησε λοιπόν ένα ρομαντικό αυλικό ένδυμα, που έμεινε στην ιστορία ως το εθνικό κοστούμι, με την ονομασία «Αμαλία». Δηλαδή, ένα φόρεμα στο Βιεννέζικο στυλ της εποχής και πάνω «ζιπούνι», ένα κοντό δηλαδή γιλέκο, βασιλικά κεντημένο. Το πατροπαράδοτο «φέσι» της παντρεμένης στο κεφάλι (με την προσθήκη του καθολικού πέπλου). Τη φορεσιά αυτή την φόρεσαν όλες οι αστές στα ελεύθερα, ακόμη και στα Τουρκοκρατούμενα Βαλκάνια, μέχρι και το Βελιγράδι.Μια τέτοια είναι και η φορεσιά της Ηράκλειας.
Στην ιματιοθήκη του Λ.Ε.Σ., υπάρχει συλλεκτική φορεσιά ηλικίας τουλάχιστον ενός αιώνα και είναι δωρεά προς το Λύκειό μας της αείμνηστης Άννας Καφταντζή, μητέρας του αείμνηστου Δικηγόρου και Ιστορικού Γεωργίου Καφταντζή. Για την ιστορία, η Άννα Καφταντζή υπήρξε μέλος του Δ.Σ. του Λ.Ε.Σ. κατά τα έτη 1961-1967.
